Trinity - Summerhill

Trinity - Summerhill - Images from book

There’s something about trees in the winter. As beautiful as they are during the other three seasons, I just love the starkness of them during the winter months. I stumbled across these three trees, just outside the small hamlet of Summerhill near Amroth, and planned to go back when the conditions were right. One frosty morning with no clouds I ventured back to capture them. The fields either side of the trees slope slightly, so by getting low down I was able to ensure that nothing, apart from the clear blue sky, was behind them.
