The Nave - St David's

The Nave - St David's - Inland

St Davids Cathedral is one of the great historic shrines of Christendom as it managed to escape the plundering Norsemen in the 'Dark Ages'. Since the 6th century there has been a church on this site. For the past 1500 years prayer and worship has taken place on a daily basis which continues to this day.

To capture this I took 5 different images and used a technique called HDR (high dynamic range), which enabled me to capture detail in the shadows & highlights and produce an image closer to how the eye really sees it.

Limited edition of 150.
