PRINTS

All prints are printed onto a 230gsm Archival Matt photographic paper using the Epson Pro 4800 A2 printer, which uses the Fine-Art Ultrachrome K3 pigment-based inks. The display life (lightfastness) of the printed images images is in excess of 75 years.

CANVAS

Every canvas is by a canvas specialist using HP Inkjet printers and genuine HP Vivera inks. Each one is printed at high resolution directly onto a bright white heavy weight canvas. Canvases are protected with the very best in protective finishes. A matt laminate is applied to each canvas through a hot vacuum press which completely seals the inks to the canvas. This ensures a resilient finish against scuffs, bumps, staining and water also helping preserve colour for over 200 years.

To complete the canvas process each canvas is stretched over a 40mm deep precision machined stretcher frame. All frames include cross bracing where necessary and a unique curved profile to prevent unsightly impression marks and edge cracking. Once the stretching process has been completed your canvas will be furnished with an award winning wall bracket, the stable heads taped, to prevent scratching your walls (attention to detail!) and tension wedges fitted to ensure it lasts a lifetime and is a quality piece of canvas art.

N.B All figures quoted above are estimates. The lightfastness test is a simulation of colour fading in an indoor preservation condition under fluorescent light with glass mount. The display life may vary depending on the conditions that you display your prints. Factors, other than light, such as ozone, temperature, humidity and a mounting process that contains products that aren't free from acid can affect the print life.

MOUNTS

Panoramic & Standard images are supplied mounted on Polar White Ingres mountboard from the Daler-Rowney Studland range. This is a white core, free from acid mountboard which is designed to help prolong the lifespan of the image. The backing board & the tape used in this process are also free from acid.

Square images are supplied mounted on White double thickness mountboard. This is a white core, free from acid mountboard which is designed to help prolong the lifespan of the image. The backing board & the tape used in this process are also free from acid.

N.B Should your chosen image arrive damaged then please return it in its original packaging and a new one will be sent out as a priority.
