Deep in the Preseli's in Pembrokeshire stands Pentre Ifan, a Bronze-Age megalithic site dating from at least 4000 B.C. The magnificent horizontal capstone is still in place and is estimated to weigh 40 tons.

According to local folklore this place is haunted by fairies, who have been seen nearby. Alas I never saw any on this trip (although I think I may have had to be on a trip to see them to be honest).
