Whitesands
Whitesands (Porth-mawr) is situated near the city of St Davids on the west coast of Pembrokeshire. This Blue Flag beach is a favourite haunt of surfers & bathers alike. The best known features of this beach are the promontory of Trwynhwrddyn and Carn Llidi (a high crag) at the north end.
Whitesands
Whenever I have visited Whitesands in the past I never quite made it across to the far end of the beach. Tides or good photo opportunities have always stopped me making it past the halfway point. On this occasion I went just to explore the far end of the beach. I wish I had made the effort many visits prior to this one......
