Laugharne Castle, which stands on a low ridge overlooking the Taf river estuary in Carmarthenshire. At one time this was one of the fortresses controlling the ancient road along the South Wales coastline.

Once inspiration for artists such as J. Turner, and authors such as Dylan Thomas and Richard Hughes.
