Overlooking the Towy Valley in Carmarthenshire stands Paxton's Tower. A triangular folly with a central hexagonal turret built in 1811 by Sir William Paxton.

This is the fence & gate that today surrounds the Tower keeping the grazing sheep & cattle at bay.
