Solva
Taken from the coastal path in Upper Solva looking back down to Lower Solva and the harbour.
Solva stands in a deep valley gouged out by water melting from glaciers. Its position made it ideal as a base for trading ships in the 18th century. Today it is used mainly for pleasure craft.
