Newport / Parrog
This large, picturesque horseshoe shaped bay is generally well protected from the winds and waves that pound much of the Pembrokeshire coastline. The historic town of Newport stands near the mouth of the River Nevern where there are 2 beaches, one on each side of the estuary. The Parrog is on the southern side & Newport Sands on the northern side.
