Manorbier

The village of Manorbier has 2 major attractions - a beautiful sandy cove, popular with surfers, photographers & families, and a very well preserved 12th century medieval castle that stands overlooking the bay. The castle was never attacked by the rebellious Welsh or decried by Cromwell's force, and over a period of 250 years it was developed as a fortified baronial home, rather than a fortress, by the de Barri family.
